Residence permit (VNZ) support

Full legal support for temporary residence via company directorship

Eligibility

Appointing yourself as director of a Serbian DOO is one of the most common paths to temporary residence (privremeni boravak). You must be a registered director, the company must be operational, and you must meet standard requirements: valid passport, health insurance, proof of accommodation, clean criminal record.

The process

1) Register or designate a DOO where you are director. 2) Prepare documents: APR extract, passport, health insurance, rental contract, bank statement, apostilled criminal record. 3) Submit application to MUP (Ministry of Interior). 4) Wait 2–4 weeks for review. 5) Receive your permit.

Renewal and permanent residence

Temporary permits are valid for 1 year initially, then renewable for 1–3 years at a time. After 3 years of continuous temporary residence you can apply for permanent residence. After 6 years you may be eligible for citizenship (subject to additional requirements).
