Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how you use the service. WarmShell uses a minimal set of cookies necessary to operate and improve our platform.
Authentication cookies: We use Supabase authentication cookies to maintain your login session securely. These are strictly necessary for the platform to function and cannot be disabled while using authenticated features.
Locale preference: We use a next-intl locale cookie to remember your language preference (English or Russian) across visits. This cookie is set when you select a language and persists until you change it or clear your browser cookies.
Analytics cookies: We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns such as page views, feature adoption, and navigation flows. Analytics data is anonymized and never sold to third parties.
Our payment processors (Stripe, 2Checkout) may set their own cookies during the checkout process. These cookies are governed by the respective third-party privacy policies. Cloudflare may set security cookies for DDoS protection and bot mitigation.
We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not participate in cross-site tracking or data broker networks.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, view which cookies are stored, and set preferences for specific sites. Note that disabling authentication cookies will prevent you from accessing your dashboard.
To manage cookies in common browsers: Chrome (Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies), Firefox (Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies), Safari (Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data).
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to: be informed about which cookies we use and why, withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time, request deletion of cookie data, and lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Strictly necessary cookies (authentication, security) do not require consent under GDPR as they are essential for the service to function.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected through cookies, request deletion of that information, and opt out of the sale of personal information. WarmShell does not sell personal information collected through cookies.
To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us at privacy@warmshell.io or use the controls in your dashboard settings.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our business practices. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on our website. Continued use of WarmShell after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
